We stayed here for one night and it exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere is calm and serene, ideal for a relaxing getaway. The grounds were beautiful, and everything felt thoughtfully designed for comfort. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Hot tub opens from 7am to 11pm which is unusual. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to unwind.

Resort is dated and not scrupulously clean. Bed was ok but on the soft side. Thin walls made it hard to sleep in (can hear neighbors opening doors, etc). Check in staff was not very welcoming. Said we had to pay $50 resort fee in case we “damaged the room”! Put us in two separate buildings when we were clearly traveling together until we asked for a change. Room chair was broken, robe belt loops broken. A little disappointing since it was advertised as 4 stars. Definitely more like a low 3 star.

What a delightful surprise to find such a truly lovely room along side the warm pool! Ours was a very updated king sized room, immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed, with nice linens and on arrival an efficient and friendly staff. Plus our room also had a microwave and refrigerator in the small kitchenette. The restaurant on site had nice meals and the bar was well stocked. We have been going to Borrego Springs several times a year for decades but never stayed here till now. We will be back very soon! Our new favorite place.
