Breakfast used to (years ago) include a proper meal (hot), but now is pretty basic. Times have changed, I know and it’s fine for what it is. Everything else was more than fantastic! Lovely king room, 2nd floor, with fireplace. Highly recommend!

Two reasons for my poor rating. First though, I travel all the time and have a great sense of good, bad, and ugly when it comes to hotels/motels/resorts/B&Bs/ARBNBs/VRBOs, etc. my first complaint is the bed. Argh! Awful. But the second reason was the worst. I’ve never stayed anywhere where they seem to be getting you to leave as fast as possible. My checkout was 11:00 but housekeeping in the next room started up really early and continually jammed the vacuum into the adjourning door. Then she moved to outside the room door to clean and was even more aggressive in jamming the vacuum up against my door over and over and over. When I finally called the front desk to complain and ask her to stop, they were very less than apologetic. Needless to say, I was wide awake and pretty pissed off after an hour or so of this. So no, they do NOT get a good rating from me and especially so since they are supposedly more of a resort & much more expensive then the other options in town.

This is a beautiful facility. Everyone was friendly. Good walking distance to food, being mindful that the return trip is uphill but very doable.

The room had a fireplace which was wonderful and the layout of the property was perfect, very cozy. The restaurant was beautiful and the breakfast was outstanding. The only thing that would make it even better would be to have a place to charge my Tesla!
