Best and quickest check in and out ever! Great place for a quick, over night stop with dogs. Dog park was spacious but Lord help people who can’t pick up their own pet’s poop. Didn’t let my dog (or myself) wander around too much, lots of dog poop on the grass. Our room was clean and updated which was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful which is a HUGE bonus after a long day’s travel.

We had a great stay here. From a phone conversation with the front desk before we arrived to a super fast check in and very friendly staff. Room was very clean quiet and the parking lot felt safe. Breakfast room in the morning was clean and welcoming, and there were a lot of options to pretty much satisfy anyone’s hunger and get fueled up for the day. Staff was on top of making sure that everything was stocked and they were just really friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

We like the cleanliness, and the fish cleaning station. On the first night, we had a bad bathroom light that flickered and then went out, leaving us in the dark. It was fixed the next day.

The Vagabond Inn I stayed at in Bishop CA, was pretty average of a hotel. The free morning continental breakfast provided, was adequate and not remarkable. The pool outside was warm and the pool area was clean. The pool was a little dirty, but that was only because of really high winds blowing debris everywhere. The hot tub was refreshing, and there were towels provided for swimmers. The hotel was fully booked but reasonably quiet. There was adequate parking. Dennys was next door and offered a discount to registered guests, which was a nice gesture and welcomed by those wanting a more traditional breakfast.

Did get a chance to use the pool or spa. Ice machines next to the pool area. Would be nice to have another one in the back. Check in was delayed for 30 minutes. Continental breakfast was decent.

We stayed here specifically because they offered bunk beds for our three children. When we got there, we were told all bunks bed rooms were “out of service.” We were offered a two queen bed room with a rollaway at same price. But we could have paid a lot less at another hotel for that same option. And we were told we “may” get a discount since that room is less but it the manager was not around. So we overpaid!
