Great and clean hotel in a relatively quiet part of the UWS. Close enough to walk to Central park, Times square and subway stations. Breakfast was included however quite disappointing, only coffee and a pastry every morning so very limited choice.

The staff was helpful and friendly, but the hotel was very rundown. The carpets were aged, worn, and stained. The wallpaper was torn and faucets were pullling away from the bathroom wall.

Poor air conditioning. I couldn’t sleep.

Hotel Belleclaire is in a great location for exploring New York, with the subway nearby and Central Park and Lincoln Center a nice walk away. The rooms are clean and simple but noisy. My headboard wall abutted the bathroom in the next room, so pipe noises were abundant, and I heard everyone in the hallways making noise. Recommend earplugs. The vouchers for the bakery and bar were a bonus.

Nice hotel with excellent staff! A little larger room size than often found in NYC but like other properties, way overpriced! Good location though and easy access to public transportation.
