The building is old and the rooms were very depressing and not like the pictures on expedia. We asked the three of our rooms were changed to new rooms because there was no view from the windows and they were too small with a bad shower. The staff is helpful and lobby is nice, but much of the view from the rooms is obstructed, and they look very old.

The building is old and the rooms show it. The three rooms that we stayed at the first day were small and extremely depressing, the shower had super low pressure, and there was no view from the windows. Very different from the pictures on expedia. We were all switched to different rooms after talking to staff and having to pay an upgrade. The lobby is nice with a kosher bar/coffee shop, and the staff is helpful and responsive. Most of the activities and restaurants we visited were not in the area, but there is transportation near by.

Great location, lovely staff. Room ok - bathroom tired and bedroom floor could have been cleaner. Main reason for booking was the roof terrace but we arrived to find it closed without warning which we were pretty gutted about

Just Okay

The restaurant is amazing! The balcony off the room terrific! The shower had a moldy smell. The bath body towels are small. Tiny bathroom vanity. The lights in the room and climate control were wonky. The elevators felt like turbulence on an airplane. The location of the hotel is EXCELLENT! You can walk anywhere from the hotel. Lots of great places to eat.

Clean and quiet

The staff was very welcoming. The room clean and quiet even though we overlooked Broadway. The location is excellent. We spent a lot of time in Central Park which was full of spring flowers and migrating birds. Great restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the museums. The facade is being worked on and is surrounded in scaffolding.

The entire building is in a bag. Instructions posted at front desk say to keep blinds closed Monday to Friday. This made the room dark and uninviting. May as well have had no windows. Room for two came with one Kuerig pod of coffee every day of our six night stay.

We’ve stayed here multiple times. We love the amount of space in the rooms. That’s a rarity in NYC. Friendly staff, lovely pastry shop in the lobby. Close to so many fun restaurants and attractions. We highly recommend!
