It was nice hotel and the staff were very helpful. The bed wasnt made properly any time it was serviced, the sheets werent breathable so i felt sweaty a lot,band some things were a bit dirty in the apartment, but apart from that i really enjoyed it. The location is right under the mountains and i enjoyed that.

On arrival bathroom was not cleaned well. Dust everwhere, soap /shampoo containers covered in spilled out product. Bathroom door was filthy, had to wipe it down myself. The bedding was fine along with the rest of the room. Room had alot of wear and tear but not too bad.

Terrible staff communication

Room itself was ok. What’s really terrible was the front staff. Check-in at night with a male staff, I paid for the room using credit card via pos terminal, saw the transaction went through as ‘approved’ on the pos screen. In the morning, we were woken up by a female staff knocking loudly on the door, saying we haven’t paid the room, transaction was declined, and need to go to front desk to sort it out. OK, give us time to sort ourselves as we just woke up. 15 minutes later she came back knocking again, I can tell she was aggravated saying pretty much they haven’t got the money, doesn’t really matter whether the transaction is showing in my account, and they won’t be able to accomodate us for 2 more nights if we don’t pay up ASAP. Went down to reception and figured out the male staff didn’t link up the payment I made the night before to our booking!!! Talk about communication! I was really upset with the way she threatened to kick us out, when it was really their miscommunication that’s causing these issues.

Was an awesome place to stay , very warm rooms with all the necessaries. Dish washer and laundry in apartment. Only fault was sink waste had a stuffed seal so water constantly drained even with the plug in

The property's location is awesome with the view of the high mountains and the river nearby. The property is built away from other busy hotels and accomodations which makes it unique feeling like breathing lots of fresh air. The staff at the reception are super friendly and accomodating even the room service staff were so polite and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to book another stay at La Quinta for the next visit to Queenstown. Thank you so much🙏❤️
