Book Oakwood Manhattan Beach accommodation from AU$223

The hotel is right on the water and you can see the Long Beach pier across the way as well as the Queen Mary. We stayed in a beach view room for 5 nights, and the view was remarkable. The restaurant was being remodeled, so I can’t speak to the food options. The amenities were great and the staff were very friendly. With all the said…charging $45 a night for parking for paying guests (because they don’t own their parking lot) is OUTRAGEOUS!! Overall, my family and I had a great time, but I won’t be staying here more than two nights until they get their parking fees under control.

When I first arrived, the room was extremely hot and took about an hour to cool down enough to be comfortable. The room I was provided was all oddly built…when the door was open, you could see straight through the room, which made me feel unsafe leaving my belongings. I called the front desk several times to ask questions but no one answered (no matter what time of day) so I had to make multiple trips back and forth to the desk. The room was also missing basic amenities like a microwave, bottle opener, and luggage rack, and both the cable and WiFi were spotty during my stay. Parking was convenient, and I did appreciate being able to go in and out of the parking garage throughout the day. However, overall, the stay was not worth the price.

Room was not the cleanest ..staff was friendly but my keys were deactivated twice.
