A Cabin - not a room
The fact that they describe their rooms as 'cabins' is a bit of a giveaway.
Upon arrival I was happy with how the staff managed things, it was a self-service style check-in anyway, and easy to manage.
Upon entry to my 'cabin' I was shocked by how small it was. I mean the whole room was taken up by the bed. The bed itself was managed via a button that allowed it to be extended or raised - a bit like in a hospital.
In order to get into the room without the door banging onto the bed, it needed to be in the raised position, once it was extended you could just barely open the door.
On a positive note it was very clean and well maintained... but the room size was an issue. I had to sidle around the bed like a crab - you can't walk front on - only sideways!
The was small wash basin in the room, with a separate toilet and shower cubicle. And this was where I was even more concerned. The toilet was next to a floor to ceiling window (a clear window) with a blind that came down to the bottom of the window. The blind wasn't a solid blind, it was partly opaque... so for the two nights I stayed there, I didn't even turn on the lights for the bathroom... and peed in the dark - I really didn't trust that if I could see out of the blind, then people could see in.
I only stayed for two nights, and I won't stay again. I know it is central London, but it isn't even low budget for what you get.
