Very convenient location at a great price. The room was clean and well kept. The staff was generally kind and welcoming, and they have a luggage room where we could leave our bags early before check in time. All that said, the rooms and bathrooms are very small (which we knew ahead of time), the bath fan was very loud, motion-activated, and could not be turned off, and it was very hot on our room (on the top floor) which made it hard to get a good night's rest. Opening the window helped, but with a noisy street, we traded heat for more noise. This is probably an excellent place to stay for one or two nights, but I don't know if I can recommend it for longer stays. For the price and the great location, it's hard to complain, but the hot room and noise make it hard to recommend.

Room was extremely small. I could literally extend my arms and touch both walls at the same time. Everything else was fine but the size of the room and how hot it was such that I wouldnt stay there again.

We were given a room in the basement basement. It smelled musty and it had mold in bathroom. We were offered a room on the top floor but there were too many stairs for my mother to navigate. Plus too hot due to the heatwave. Staff brought us a oscillating fan and offered to get our bags in the morning. Stairs to basement rooms very treacherous.

Great location, clean and comfortable stay I had a great stay at this property. The hotel is in very good condition, exceptionally clean, and located in a super convenient area — within walking distance to many attractions but also close to public transportation. It’s the best of both worlds. The room was spotless and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Just keep in mind that the rooms are on the smaller side, and some of the stairways leading to them are quite narrow — something to be aware of if you have large luggage. Other than that, it’s a great spot and I’d definitely stay here again.

It was quiet even in the hustle and bustle of Kings Cross station. The room was so cramped I barely had space to move around. I didn't sleep too well because it was hot. I reported this but did not get a satisfactory answer from reception.

The hotel is very convenient if you are catching a train early in the morning at Kings Cross or St Pancras. The double room and bathroom were clean. The room is on a small side for 2 people and 2 adults but manageable for one night. The bathroom is very narrow and small. The are plenty of restaurants/cafés in the area.

Hotel was fine for what we needed on a short break to London. Twin room was ideal, comfy beds and pillows. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Room was on the small side but not an issue for us. Corridors were tight, we were on the basement level, very tight stairs and corridors, not an issue for us but possibly for those with mobility issues.

We left this property the day after checking in for a 5 day stay. Though the area was great, close to Kings Cross Station which made it very easy for sightseeing, we couldn’t bear to stay for the 5 days. The rooms are so pokey that it was unbearable. The walk up 3 flights of the extremely narrow staircase, dragging our 20 kg suitcases nearly killed us. I was terrified that either my sister or I would slip and fall the steps themselves were so short. Then there was the room! It was cool outside but the room was horribly stuffy. The window took 2 of us to open and then needed the thoughtfully provided block of wood to jam in to stop it from sliding down! It did nothing to cool the room. The beds were appalling though clean. The bathroom was very tiny. The sink was one that I’m sure had come from a dental surgery it was so small though a bigger one would not have fit! No shelves or any capacity to put anything, hang a towel or even get changed. The curtains so old they were rotting. The lady on reception was kind but the man barely looked at us. If you’re planning a stay for more than a day in London, find somewhere else.

I have stayed at many hotels in this area and this is the only one where no help was offered with luggage. I was directed to the least amenable staircase for large luggage and so just let my case slide down the stairs. I Found the better staircase for myself. The room was tiny. There was no space to open my suitcase except on the bed: hardly convenient. Receptionist only smiled at our second encounter, in response to something I said on my way out for food

Disappointed with size of room

Room (no. 313) was a lot smaller than imagined. Only a few inches at one side of the bed so could not walk down. Limited room at other side and bottom. Very little other floor space. Shower room tiny. Only one step between toilet and shower cubicle. Room very hot, had to use fan which, thankfully, was provided.Decoration dreary throughout hotel. Narrow corridors and staircases. Having said all that it was very clean, including bed linen and towels. Bed comfortable. Only stayed one night and arrived late in evening. Would not consider this place for multiple nights.

I had a great stay at Wardonia Hotel. My room was modern and was cleaned with towels replaced every day. Staff were polite and professional. The location is excellent - down the street from King’s Cross and the tube station. I would stay here again!
