Rockwell Hotel

The staff were just excellent at the Rockwell. They couldn't be more helpful. There were a few niggles, the shower was tricky, but sorted the next day. The hairdryer didn't work and was replaced immediately and milk was put in the room. All in all, great value for money.

Fabulous well situated boutique hotel

We loved our stay at the rockwell. The hotel is located a short walk from the local tube station (Earls Court). Although it is on a main road it was quiet inside. The reception area is very boutique and beautiful. The staff were lovely and helpful and our deluxe double room had a mezzanine floor with the bed upstairs, which we loved!

Very good stay, staff very polite and helpful, slight issue during check-in as the cleaners had missed the room 🙈, but the staff were very quick to sort it out and a free complimentary breakfast for the trouble. Very nice hotel, great location would definitely stay here again 👍

Great room let down by DUMB TV

It was great value for money with a great king size bed and outside seating area. Sadly, the SMART TV was not so smart and couldn’t cast either- needs to be updated.

The Rockwell is a reasonable hotel in need of some renovation. Both our room and the public areas were tired and could use a freshen, especially things like carpets. Staff were helpful but language was an issue - for most, English was clearly a second language. The hotel location is mid-way between Gloucester Road and Earls Court tube stations, so there is a walk either way. Overall, it wasnt a bad experience but I probably wouldnt stay at the Rockwell again.

An excellent stay

An excellent overnight stay. The Rockwell is very conveniently located just 5-10 minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station. There are a couple of small supermarkets, various restaurants and a couple of pubs on the route from the station. The lobby area is very welcoming with a fireplace, sofas and a library area. The public areas looked very clean and well-maintained, as was our spacious and comfortable room. The room layout was brilliant with a seating area, (with a TV, a table with a kettle and bottled water and a coffee table) and shower room downstairs and a mezzanine bed area with a lovely comfy bed, reached by spiral stairs. There are lots of places to put your things and sufficient hanging space. There's a safe and a mini-bar (which we didn't use). The bathroom was nice and clean and the water pressure was good (we were on the 1st floor). We wished we were staying for longer!

Great Stay

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was quite large by London standards for a good price. Earl’s Court has a lot of restaurants with food from around the world and the Tube was convenient. If you are a Chelsea fan going to the Bridge…this hotel is perfect.
