Great Location But Tired and Worn

This hotel is in an amazing location, walkable to all the area sites & attractions. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Our lackluster rating is because the interior common spaces are very tired and dated. The hallway carpet, for example, was extremely worn and soiled. Our bathroom was well-appointed and housekeeping kept everything clean and stocked. For the price, we would've enjoyed and expected morning coffee in the lobby, especially before the restaurant opened, but only water was offered.

Hotel great, service in hotel great, cleanliness - immaculate, breakfast - lovely, bar - wow but on check out the receptionist did not have a clue and had to be helped. If you are in a 5 star on a busy morning checkout and I know people Need to train get them Supervision or put them on when it’s quieter. An amazing weekend ruined by 1 thing

Great place to be

Love the Mayfair and its neighborhood. Close to the tube, great dining, shopping and even a grocery across the street. The staff are super accommodating and the taxis are always available. Great for theater, runs to dinner where you may be more dressed up. Otherwise easy to walk most places or take the tube.
