I have stayed at lots of Hoxton's around the world, and this specific one on multiple occasions. One of the key components of the "Hoxton magic" is its staff. This trip, at this location, everyone felt really sullen and just a bit grumpy. We were celebrating our recent wedding with family and friends and every other place we stayed the staff went above and beyond to make it an incredible experience. This was not the case at the Hoxton. In addition, we asked if the room was close to the elevators as we are both light sleepers, the check in staff said no, and it "doesn't matter anyway because the rooms are soundproof". Our room was immediately next to the elevator, and having heard the person in the room next to us consistently, can assure the person that the rooms are not soundproof. I stayed at this hotel a year ago and the bed was very creaky, and a year later, still creaky. Honestly, disappointing. I LOVE the Hoxton brand and have had so many great experiences, this was 100% not one of them.

Kind staff and nice vibe in lobby. You may want to request that your room has a bathroom that doesn't face the bed - the first "Roomy" room they gave us was too small for two pieces of luggage and the bathroom was directly in front of the bed - odd as the door was a smoked glass and didn't provide full privacy and the shower was tiny - imagine at night using the bathroom and lighting up the room as well? We requested a different room and was given a different "Roomy" room that was SO MUCH BETTER 😊.

Location was convenient near shopping, theater and underground. The food in hotel restaurant was delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly. My only complaint was that the room was very small for two people. No place to put luggage and the shower has no way to keep the bathroom floor from getting wet.

Two night stay for family wedding. Room space and storage was good for a short stay but would have been limited for a longer stay. Very clean and modern feel to the rooms and hotel in general. Staff informal and welcoming. Good breakfast options. Plenty of space in reception to meet people. Convenient location for central London locations.
