Fabulous London stay

Beautiful and charming Hotel. Location is perfect. Near Hyde Park, museums, Palaces. Lots of great restaurants, cafes and shopping. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved our adorable room. I would stay here again.

My London Home

My wife and I always enjoy staying at the Ampersand hotel when we visit London. Firstly it’s the warm greeting by Christian at the front desk or Katarina the manager in the morning or her assistant front office manager. They are also welcoming and polite and that makes a difference. The location of the hotel is excellent for all the best attractions and sites of London. It’s a short walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens and only a little further to Holland Park. There’s masses of good pubs and restaurants nearby and the staff will guide you to some of the best in London. The Hunters Moon is my favorite for eating and drinking. The rooms at the hotel are comfy and well appointed and most importantly just good value. Highly recommended for all the above and more.

Had to ask front desk for housekeeping to refill refrigerator with milk and water.. front desk was very kind and responsive.. but, do to my busy schedule and do to the rating of the hotel " as leading small boutique hotel of the world " status, I felt that this detail should of not been overlooked.Also, housekeeping only provided till certain hour. So, if you are not out of the room by that time...they will not make your room.Another sore detail.

Amazing personalized touches in the room especially for kids. We arrived on Easter and they had a chocolate bunny, robe and slippers and a hot chocolate setup for my son. A tube station, several restaurants, shopping and museums are all within a short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel

The Ampersand Hotel and the customer service team were outstanding and very accommodating and handled all our requests with ease. Our room was lovely, clean and quiet and was available for an early check in. The restaurant inside the hotel was great and was able to adjust menu to cater for my gluten intolerance. The hotel’s location is very convenient for travel, museums and shopping. I’ll be back again

Stayed at this hotel before and had a pleasant stay. This time I prepaid Stay was fine, however after checking out, the hotel took full payment, meaning I paid twice. On calling the hotel the first words were- can you send an email, no was the answer. the receptionist tried to justify taking the payment was hotel policy!! Nothing mentioned when checking in, if indeed this is hotel policy then be warned, you will pay twice and then told you have to wait for an unauthorised charge to be refunded in 5 days! Not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel?
