The standard classic room did not allow enough space between the bed and the wall, making it difficult to walk around. Also, the walls are thin and need soundproofing. But the service was excellent and the people lovely.

Wonderful location and breakfast. Minus one star because the hotel did not honor our larger room reservation despite a request made months in advance. Said it had been given away earlier that day even though we were checking in at 3:30 pm, which is quite early!

I stayed in a Park Suite and it was roomy and comfortable and overlooked Hyde Park which is such a treat. Staff are very helpful and responsive. Nice stay.

I recently stayed at the hotel, despite wanting to change the dates to later in the month. After a few hiccups at check in, I was approached by Jaya, to address my concerns and she was truly professional. My bar bill was removed and she offered to look after me and my husband when we are due to return at the end of this month. What a difference this made to my experience at the hotel. Coming to London I wasn’t sure where to stay as I had quite a few factors to consider. But I cannot recommend this hotel more. They really treat you like royalty. I felt very safe, room was a great size and even got upgraded to a room with a beautiful view. Room service & the fry up was very tasty but there are a million options around if you want them. Kensington is a great area to walk around like a local but quick access to the tourist stops via bus or train if you’re not up for walking.
