Hotel is on the metro underground and in operation hours you can feel the vibration and sound at the lower rooms. There was no problem about other topics. Hotel was very clean and personal was helpful kindly. Close to everywhere.

The shower door is hung the wrong way and it is impossible to turn on the shower without being under the cold spray. The toilet seat was cracked.

Super clean, modern and centered hotel. The only issue is the noise of the train station that is right next to the property.

Great hotel close to Paddington station, Hyde Park. Hop on Hop off bus is at the end of the street. We were in the basement where you hear and feel the trains running but didn’t bother us. Ear plugs were supplied. Great hotel.

Great location near Paddington station. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Bathroom was fairly new. Ours was down a small flight of stairs, heated towel rail wasn't well placed... ouch!

We reserved a Ground Floor Room and were stuck in a very small basement room. It needs hooks or bars for hanging things and room for at least 2 pieces of luggage when renting to a couple. Only one person could move around space at a time. Did appreciate the luggage storage.

The AC didn’t work well the 1st night, but staff got it fixed for our 2nd night. We weren’t happy to not have a real door in the restroom especially since there were 3 of us traveling together. The door is frosted glass with 1” gapes on each side & does not lock. The extra bed didn’t fit in the room so it was pushed against the king bed to make a mega bed which was awkward for our teenage son & definitely not what was advertised when we booked the hotel.

The room was described as “lower level”, but they should state these rooms are UNDERGROUND and definitely NOT SOUNDPROOF. I wouldn’t have knowingly booked an underground room. I also requested a window my son could look out from, but the window was right on the staff/basement exit and garbage collection area. I requested a different room once I arrived, but was told they were fully booked. The staff seemed friendly and I was traveling with my 3 year old son, so I decided to stay because I felt it would be too much trouble to find a decent hotel in the area at a reasonable price at such late notice. However, later that evening, I realized the room was not soundproof as advertised. The sound of the underground train is very loud and you can even feel the vibrations in these rooms, it sounds like an earthquake. My son had a very difficult time sleeping, it was scary for him. In addition, the distance to the Natural History Museum, which was the main attraction for him, was farther than what is listed on the hotel’s description.

Compact Room

The room is very compact, the sink sat outside the bathroom which is weird. No bottled water in the room, if you wanted water you had to get this downstairs at reception with a plastic cup.

Modern and great location. Knew I booked a lower level room, didn’t know the trains would shake the room every 10 minutes or so. Probably just an issue at that level - but one to watch.
