The air conditioning did not work. The shower had mold everywhere. They only had a plug in fan in the lounge area - at the hottest time of the year. Would not return.

Overall really great stay, unfortunately aircon not working but they were kind enough to supply a fan. Also breakfast was great for someone with allergies usually I only get fruit for breakfast but they had many options that were safe which was amazing.

I hate writing bad reviews and generally post nothing if my experience wasnt good. But the amount of $ this hotel cost and what it delivered were disappointing. From not having our joined rooms available and blaming this on Expedia miscommunication, and putting us in a room with no ac.. and also so small that the door didn’t fully open bc it bumped into the bed. And the bathroom dirty with hair on shower walls and the cooking pots and pans so scratched up and awful. And „clean” utensils covered in sticky stuff… To then switching us finally on day 2 into joined rooms - one of which smelled like cigarette smoke. The shower stalls were all mildewy- in every room.. in spite of cleaning service out and working everyday. The elevators were an issue every day, the hotel is really not equipped to handle the volume they reserve. Free breakfast was ok.. mix of eggs and samosas and meat products and beans. My kids, who usually love all hotel bfst, didn’t eat at all. Maybe we are just too plain American to appreciate this specific spread. Way too many bread/baked good stations that didn’t get a line and not enough coffee machines, which kept glitching. The location is well connected via metro. That’s the one upside to it all.. and also a grocery store.

The staff was AMAZING!!! The breakfast was also very good. The room was very nice. It was clean and the kitchen was reasonably sized and outfitted. The only complaints we have about the room are: - the layout of the bathroom door which was right next to the bed with a narrow path between the bed and the wall - no air conditioning (and opening the window resulted in traffic noise)

We didn't have the best experience with this hotel from start to finish, unfortunately. The front desk -- the men, specifically, talked over my wife and changed their tune when I speak to them. The place claims to have AC but it did not work in our room. We had to ask for a fan to circulate the stuffy air. The lift didn't work for pretty much the duration of our stay. We enjoyed the location. It's a walking distance to Earl's Court, the V & A, and Gloucester if you can handle walking a bit further.

Air conditioning did not work. I could not sleep. Too noisy outside to keep window open. Water pressure in the shower was terrible, could barely get all the soap washed off. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I could feel the springs. Terrible experience. This is NOT what I'm used to expect from a Marriott hotel. No parking provided either... This really ruined my whole weekend. Stay away from this place.

Excellent stay at Residence Inn. Breakfast was fantastic with a great spread and choices. Room was comfy and the hotel is actually around 8-10 min walk from West Kensington underground station. Fantastic staff and hopefully we will be back soon.

Hotel checked us into a room where they knew AC didn’t work. Spent 1 night in hot, stuffy room because staff said hotel was full. Manager did upgrade us to a better room on 2nd night. Overheard other guests complaining of no AC as well. I of 2 elevators was out of service. This is a large hotel and guests waited in line to use elevator and it was full when doors opened on many floors. Guests with luggage or prams waited for several full elevators to pass. First room had soiled carpet and upholstery. Couch had buttons hanging off cushions or missing. Some mold in shower. Hotel is worn and need of maintenance
