Check in was chaotic as hotel system was down. Hotel did compensate with offering free Prosecco but we did not get checked in until 1640 so lost any time for relaxation which was a shame. Room was well appointed and clean but bathroom exceptionally small for an executive superking room. Rooms were also quite noisy

The room was in good condition. However, our room was not cleaned until after 2pm. The fron desk seemed friendly and somewhat helpful. Whenever we had a question they did seem like it was a problem for then to resolve. Also, whenever there was an issue and they had to consult the manager he was just in his office, the staff seemed as though they wanted to provide the customer service, but the .anager just said NO. I had very mixed feelings. The spa staff was friendly enough, after u had a massage and paid for the sevice i asked for a receipt. Noone emailed it, i came back the day before we left and the team was on their way out and the attendant was super rude, because i asked for certin information my insurance asked for. And the attendant that actually gave told us they were going to email me and provide the info i needed was there and denied saying anything. They were all on different pages with their info.

The pool, steam room and sauna is free!, there’s a nice little popcorn machine that’s also free and a picture machine all free, the staff are nice and the rooms are decent. Only downside I’d say is the bathrooms are small but you can easily get around that. Do recommend

Nice hotel, but our experience was badly affected by a dispute with the reception and duty manager who claimed that our two-night confirmed booking on hotels.com was only for one night, and wanted to charge us an extortionate walk-in rate for the second night. This took an hour for me to resolve and I confirmed with hotels.com that the booking was confirmed. The duty manager eventually accepted this. It was entirely down to the ineptitude of the hotel staff and it was clearly stated to me that they prefer customers to book directly and not through sites like Expedia.
