Chic, stylish and very relaxing. The Long Arm Bar food service was the pits, after 1 hour I was told my order had never gone into the Kitchen. I had to go to a show@The Eventim Apollo and had to leave.

Location was perfect for Shoreditch, Brick Lane, Spittalfields and an easy enough half hour walk to Islington. Close to the tube and Liverpool Street for getting to the rest of the city. Stunning art deco (?) building, generous sized rooms and super chic. There’s a rooftop bar which was buzzing on the weekend (we didn’t go but our room was just below it so beware if you are on the 9th floor and need more quiet as you could hear it…we kinda liked that though)

Nice hotel in the city. Roof top bar and dining nice if you can get in amongst the nine hotel visitors! Rooms ok, I was upgraded which was amazing but the massive window in the room didn’t have wide enough curtains!

Fantastic place!

I chose The Montcalm Hotel to celebrate my mum’s birthday, and I’m so glad I did. We had an amazing time from start to finish. The hotel was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were absolutely lovely — professional, friendly, and always smiling. It felt genuinely welcoming, and I really appreciated how willing they were to accommodate my special requests. I had planned a surprise for my mum, and they helped make it extra special without any hesitation. The location is also very convenient, just a short walk from the underground, which made getting around easy. Overall, everything was perfect. I highly recommend The Montcalm and would definitely book again if I’m in the area. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, nothing seemed like it could be too much trouble! The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained with modern facilities and a great atmosphere. The location was fantastic minutes away from the closest tube station giving access to wider parts of London. Brilliant hotel.
