The staff put up with my grouchy travel companion, so I will give them that. And the location was good. However the property was rundown, under construction, and our room smelled extremely disgustingly bad. The housekeepers left the window wide open because it smelled so bad. I didn't ask to change because we had already changed rooms because of my travel companion's complaints. It smelled like something had gotten wet and rotten in there.

There was a smell of gasoline bo n the 2nd floor where we stayed. There was no tissue paper like kleenex in the room. The hallway was deteriorated with trims falling apart.

Give it a miss

Poor and disappointing, the hotel leads you to believe it’s posh in the heart of Kensington. But it’s trying to be something it’s not. The key to any hotel is looking after your guests, I’m afraid the Millennium does deliver. Room although a decent size lacked basic facilities. Once we booked we got pestered and pestered by email to upgrade. We did purchase breakfast, although at a higher price than advertised and it was probably the worst hotel breakfast I have had.

This property is in desperate need of renovation. In fact, it has been for many years, but nothing is done to make improvements. Dirty, smelly and falling apart. The only thing the hotel has going for it is that it is in a great location and perfect for hopping on the tube.

An OK Stay

Pleasant hotel with quiet, spacious rooms andcomfortable beds. The lobby and bar were very nice, though I was not able to sign for my drinks as a guest and had to retrieve my credit card to pay. The room we were given (678) was badly in need of a renovation - especially the bathroom. The towel warmer is no longer hooked up and it is a cold bathroom. The toilet handle was finicky and the draperies in the main room we partially off the rails. I asked at the desk twice if we could have the empty shower gel refilled - twice I was told right away, but it remained empty. So not a perfect experience, but overall I would try this hotel once more.

A really old hotel.. bad smell.. need to make a total make over.. we changed room becuase the first had a really bad smell.. the rooms was not clean.. we Will not come back..
