Room very basic hard bed no drinking water. Humidifier with tube hanging out the window which you couldn’t close so was noisy all night. Tried to call housekeeping and reception, no one answered and couldn’t leave a message.

Ok for a business trip

Used to stay here regularly, starting to look and feel a bit tired now. Small things like light bulbs not working properly, dirty exterior etc. just feeling a bit old. Otherwise ok but perhaps expensive for condition.

Hotel is well located and reception staff were very helpful and polite. The AC in the room was not cooling at all and even the additional fan provided was useless. We were sweating all night and most of the day, not nice! Additionally, housekeeping were not vacuuming the room. Please take try and improve on the above items, thanks.

Good food and service but needs updating.

The overall condition of the hotel is very tired. Air conditioning needs updating, our room had a noisy free standing unit. Which wasn’t fitted properly and was pumping hot air back into the room, my husband managed to sort it. The staff were very attentive and the food and drink were excellent value. Location is excellent for the Royal Albert Hall

Pros Good mattress Clean House keeping promptly provided lots of towels and extra cups as requested. Cons Facilities are dated. Lacking basic amenities like Kleenex, lotion. Weird smell in corridors like flatulence. Noisy past 9pm due to large school music band trip.

The air conditioner was not working in our room. A portable one was set up with the exhaust hose stuck out of the open window. As much money as I paid for the room I should have been moved to a different one. Because we were exposed to the night air and exhaust, both my daughter and myself got sick. Also, we ordered room service which after an hour was not delivered. I called to check and the online order system wasn’t working and never received it. We eventually got food brought to our room. Not sure I would stay at this hotel again
