The property was in unsanitary conditions. The toilet was broken, causing water to spill all over the bathroom floor every time we flushed.

Thankfully I am ok with just having a bed to sleep in at night, but for the average traveler this place may make you want to run the other way. Walls were filthy, water from the toilet leak on the bathroom floor, shower door broken, no door knob on the bathroom door, and damage to the bottom of bathroom door. Again we stayed and didnt complain becuase we just wanted a bed for the night and this fulfilled that, however the edge of the matress is really worn down from everyone using it as a seat. If you are looking for a budget friendly place and not too picky this is the place for you, if you would rather not question what is going on in the rooms around keep looking.

When we checked in were offered anotheroom apparently nicer in another property 12 mins walk. We took it as we felt the reason was our room was not ready even at 4pm. The room we had we entered through someones kitchen, the bathroom was unclean with empty bottles, half drunk bottle of water

The room was disgusting and filthy. Matrress was old and springs stuck in back. No air in room. Door was fire door but not adjusted so heavy and dangerous. Could lose fingers. Left case there for £5 cash as needed to vacate room by 10.30am. They were left in reception area and when i collected was not acknowledged or checked who i was so could have been anyone taking it. Staff not interested. Too many issues to list here. Location was good though but stay somewhere else there!!!!!

I would not stay here. Too small and hot! Had to buy a fan for the room since the hotel didn’t provide one. One “make shift” bed was broken . The toilet seat was broken . The shower door handle was broken. I mentioned all this to the receptionist but he didn’t care. He said he will get someone to fix the issues. After three days…nothing got fixed. He even barred me from using the public restroom. This hotel is so terrible!! Truthfully it isn’t a hotel. It’s a small room in a building. Upon checking out I didn’t want to leave my new fan in the room so I gave it to the nice man who ran the market down the street. He was very happy.

No lock on bedroom door, was promised it would be fixed but it wasn't. Bed base was completely broken with dirty washing supporting the mattress.... my back was so sore. I asked for the bed to be fixed or another room but the request was denied. I dont expect perfection but a working bed and door lock i do expect.

The worst rooms in a hotel with no ventilation. Bathroom/Toilet doors cannot be locked from inside!!! Terrible cleaning. No cupboards to keep clothes!!! No lift which was fine but do recommend to have one. Overall terrible place to stay. Not recommended. Example of hole in bathroom door is submitted.

Room door did not lock, key had been snapped in lock and lock removed (I was shown remains of key (stub)). I was in a hurry to make an appointment so no chance to insist on a different room (they did not seem keen to give me one) so had to leave belongings in room while I went out for the evening with room unlocked. Television didn't work - probably explains why no remote. Room very small. Bathroom very cramped, could not sit down on toilet, had to sit on toilet seat at an angle. No wifi. But there was tea/coffee making equipment and the shower worked well. Bed sheets/pillow clean.

We reserved 2 rooms for one night, and was appropriate for the rate. Safe neighborhood, rooms were clean, no bugs. I would recommend to stay on a lower floor as no A/C, no screens on the windows, no elevator. We stayed on the 4th floor and was super hot so had to leave the windows open (mosquitos and birds). Water pressure in pipes was very loud on 4th floor, not on the 3rd floor where our second room was. Staff was very friendly. I would be ok to stay again, for one night only not longer.

Ended up booking into another hotel as the place was incredibly run down with a lock that I couldn’t trust as it took several attempts from the receptionist to manage to get it to lock on exiting the room (the barrel was rotating in the lock). The state of the room was also very run down.

Dirty hotel, flies in the room ever night, no AC, no WiFi ( didn’t work past the second floor, we were on the 4th), no elevator, no door handle on the bathroom door, it was ripped off and never fixed. Tv didn’t work. Generally disgusting hotel. Spoke to the front desk who said they’d tell their boss. Nothing ever was addressed. Would not stay here.

We are surprised that Expedia listed this property on their website. The hotel's rooms are not safe—the walls near the bed and the radiator are full of mold, which can be harmful to breathe. The beds are very uncomfortable, the rooms are too small, and there is no air conditioning, no Wi-Fi, and no customer service. The bathrooms are in poor condition; water remains in the washbasin and standing shower. The washbasin is extremely small, measuring only 8 by 6 inches, like a child's toy. We have pictures to share as evidence. There is no space in the room or bathroom to store personal belongings. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone, even if they offered a free stay."
