Not worth it

Room is old, small and lacked basic features such as wall art or a clock. Shower pressure sucks. Room is cramped and I was alone so should have been more than enough space- no. Plug in space heater, had to ask for a fan. Window wired so could only open 2 inches. Friends had a "new" room, however they told me their room may have been more aestheticly pleasing they still had issues with space and shower. Plus side- friendly staff, great local for Tube and Hop On/Off busses. Great street two over that had shops, markets, restaurants. Local to Hyde Park for a walk, hotel bar Con- Old room, no central heating or cooling, tight space, no refrigerator for insulin (maybe that's just an American amenity???)

Major redo of the hotel was happening while we were there, with no advance warning or concession on price. The place may look better in a couple months, but that will do nothing for the thinness of the walls that made it sound like the girls next door, who were talking/laughing/singining all 3 nights after 2am, sound as if they were sitting right on the bed with us.

The hotel is very clean! The only problem is the noise caused by the water pipes behind the walls. I changed room twice and seems like the problem is everywhere. The noise is very strong and you can hear it nearly continuously. That is a pity because the rooms have just been refurbished but it’s impossible to rest well.

London, while seemingly prosperous on the surface, in reality encompasses numerous areas with rudimentary and outdated infrastructure, falling short of modern and civilised standards. A segment of the populace exhibits an inexplicable air of arrogance and indifference, the source of their perceived superiority remaining unclear. The standard of living, in terms of material resources, is comparatively poor, and the quality of food is often below expectation. Furthermore, the urban environment is noisy, traffic is chaotic, and the underground rail system is notably unsanitary

2 guys on the reception were very friendly and we had a good laugh. Excellent value. Bang on Hyde Park and just a few minutes' walk to The Royal Albert Hall for my night out. Only problem was that I didn't know Hyde Park closes at night, and I had to walk around it to get home. I made up for my disappointment of having to walk further the night before, by shouting at a Snobby Sloane and her daughter, to pick up her dog's turd, whilst they were pretending not to notice it was having a plop, in Hyde Park.

The main thing is that there was a special incident that happened at the front desk. The attitude of the staff during check-in was very different. They did not interact with the guests and did not know the basic manners of normal people. This is the area where they most urgently need to learn and improve. Another interesting encounter, the room I was given was a dungeon and a confined space with no windows, which was a strange experience. A hotel is supposed to be a place that provides services, but the waiters were indifferent and did not make the guests feel at home. Every day when I return to the hotel, I am terrified of the looks of the waiters. Their attitude is as if they only know how to do their own things and not provide any service, and they hope that the guests will try not to harass them. With this attitude, will the guests consider coming again? add a photo is error,but I want to send a photo for you.

Todo el piso de nuestra habitación estaba en construcción, había gente trabajando y era de difícil acceso además del polvo, materiales de construcción etc. El seguro de nuestro cuarto no funcionaba, se lo reportamos al personal y su respuesta fue “No se preocupe igual nadie entra”, y también la secadora no funcionaba.

We’ve stayed at Central Park before, it’s in such a good spot to explore London and everything you need is literally on the doorstep. The staff are always amazing, so courteous, friendly and helpful. The room this time was a bit tired but the hotel is undertaking a refit. Would highly recommend

Very tiny room's with no natural air (ventilation) so suffocating. Room has very thin walls. You could hear everything from next room . Staff is not corporated - unprofessional. Never Again !

I stayed in the new refurbished room, and it was very lovely, nice amenities and bathroom. I knew about the noise that would be happening before hand and it doesn’t bother me. The staff were friendly and the overall stay was pleasant, especially for the price!
