Kensington accommodation with spa

Top hotel in top location. Breakfast is top notch.

The room is very small but had a window (opened(!) a crack) and overlooked the park across the street. I stayed in The Roost which was a perfect size for me; a solo traveller. The front desk staff was helpful upon check-in and assisted with the “keyless” entry. Please be aware that seniors need a little extra time to process the technology! The television in the room was welcome and there is a safe…no fridge…but a coffee machine and real milk in small packets. Close to the subway it was a safe home away from home. Thank you to the young woman who greeted me every morning!

Breakfast is over-priced and not that appealing.

Great experience. Its a smaller Hotel, but lacks nothing. Wonderful rooms, helpful and friendly staff, great location with South Kensington Tube station within 2 minutes reach. V&A, Natural History museum, science museum, Hyde Park are all nearby. We really enjoyedthe Ampersam. Thank you!

​I was originally drawn to this hotel because of the stunning decor and overall vibe in the photos, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The property is beautiful, and every single design detail is spot on. ​I had a slight issue with the bed on my first day, but the staff was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. They even upgraded me to a better room, which completely made up! ​I only had the breakfast there, but it was great. Not just the dining area being super Instagrammable, but the food itself was delicious. The common areas are very comfortable and well-suited for getting some work done too.
