The place definitely does not have any street appeal. But staff were great and room was very clean and tidy . Bed also very comfortable. Was an over night work trip so was perfect but definitely not a family holiday destination.

The room was dirty, mold in bathroom, blood on the wall, bugs found in the unit, the carpet was dirty behind the mini fridge (which was in bad shape) and behind the beds were also very dusty. The bed and sheets were the only rhing clean and tidy in there. The walls were paper thin, we could hear most conversations happening in the parking lot and as we were located on the ground floor, we could hear every step up the stairs which sounded like stomping. There was construction going on right outside the building, which is out of their control but something to keep in mind, they did give out ear plugs so it is obviously well noticed by the motel but not mentioned until the day we were set to check in, nor did the mention that there was two construction sites operating. Reception only open from 9am till 7pm. We were supposed to stay for two nights but left after the first due to the construction being too disrutbive for our 3 year old. They would not reimburse us.

It was a bit annoying in the way of road works happening; beds were ok comfort wise, motel room was basic, convenient location with walking distance to pacific fair, internet kept playing up

The location is great being a block away from Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and 2 blocks to the beach. The motel is old but kept clean. Parking was limited and the stairs were slippery in the rain The kettle was too big to be filled from the sink and had to be done in the shower. The crockery and cuttlery could only be rinsed as no detergent was provided. No house keeping during our 3 day stay either. No face washers and no where to hang wet towels. Overall Average but the price and location was great

Room was badly cleaned, had remanence from previous guest such as shower scrub tags and some mystery gunk on the counter. Walls where also very thin and the window shutters to the outside don’t fully close (people could peel through if the light inside was on)

Very noisy motel. Roadworks all around until late at night. And construction across the road begins at 6am. Door had damage that looks like it was broken into numerous times. Wouldn’t leave valuables in the room. Should note there is access via stairs only. No lifts or accessibility. Parking is tight, but present.

Appreciated having lots of bowls, plates, cups and cutlery, as well as brush and tea towel to wash them. A small bottle of dishwashing liquid would have been helpful, but we managed by using a bar of soap. Parking is limited, but the same people manage Tropicana and Browns next door, and there is extra parking at the back of the Browns property.

Very strict check-in time and no blackout curtain!

Room service is only provided once while u stay for a week. Room for 3 people is very small without any chair and small bathroom as well but fortunately i was a solo traveller. There is no blackout curtain and imprecision door so beware of very very shining sunlight come into the room, my idea is covering the window with blanket. Before my arrival has emailed sent and back for early check-in and after all it seemed very strictly 2pm check-in time, it happened as well in my last year check-in, it is very hard situation when u had a overnight flight from Perth and arriving early morning and there is nothing to seat there in the very very small lobby without any seating. 1 hour late check out is $20. There is tram extended rail construction to the airport but it is now better than last year i stayed as working all night long, however sound is busy started early morning.

Good cheap stop in between medical appointments for the week. Lots of construction which can get loud very early but being further in the corner wasn’t as loud like the cars/bikes screaming up the road. Some very strict rules to follow but its easy if your only staying mostly at nights. A negative is the bright lights that light up outside the top rooms which i feel is for safety but leaving our room fully lit up and harder to sleep which was needed after surgery. The room itself had few minor issues like a leaking shower head, basically no cutlery with only 1 fork to share with 2 people and dangerous clothesline in the shower which couldn’t support the weight of anything and become slip hazard if left wound out. overall will return even with these Minor issues.
