Mark, the gentleman at the front desk very professional,very helpful, very nice! The hotel is alder hotel but it's immaculate. I could definitely tell they stayed on top of things !!!!

Liked room layout. Restaurant on ground floor was good - their takeaway meal service was a great idea. Footpath area and steps into Hotel were grubby and could do with a clean and maybe an update.

Nice clean and spacious room. Close to the CBD, Roma st station and the beautiful parkland. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate was nice. Great eateries near by, the Japanese breakfast and lunch place and the Indian just down the road were excellent. It’s at the top of the hill, so keep that in mind if walking up from the station with luggage. Nice affordable place to stay.

Very decent hotel for the price. Easy access to the city via the park if you don't mind an uphill walk back to the hotel. Room was quiet with modern furnishings and good aircon.

Like - location and value for money Not Like - being charged extra $$ for carparking on check-in - this should be advised when considering the area options as an overall budget factor, not a surprise on arrival. No Cash Accepted - again, this should be advised ahead of booking confirmation not on arrival at front desk/checkin. I prefer to use cash where I can to avoid increasing debit card charges, to have this option taken away is annoying
