Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing for several reasons and was not value for the money paid. The staff were pleasant but there were other issues with the service. Firstly, the AI app gave incorrect information - it advised to phone the operator when there were TV issues, but the operator line was not in service. The TV had technical issues and would drop out when streaming, and turn off while watching free to air. When I tried to phone reception about the TV, no one answered the phone and I had to call the Concierge (who was lovely). I asked the AI app how to order room service and it said to dial 9 - this was not correct. When attempting to order room service, I phoned reception and room service several times with no answer. I phoned from my mobile to the external line to finally get a staff member to place my order. One of the dishes was a Chicken Caesar Salad and I requested either a hard boiled egg or no egg at all. I received a soft poached egg. This was requested due to a medical diet. The cheese platter on the dessert menu was underwhelming for the price paid - there was only one type of "dried fruit", the quince paste quantity overwhelmed the quantity of cheese. I booked this night so that my sister and I could have a relaxing night watching movies and ordering room service (which my sister had never done before). Unfortuantley, very disappointing for the Rydges brand.
