We have to do a huge shoutout to the amazing staff of the George Williams hotel. We arrived on the Wednesday before Cyclone Alfred was to hit land on Thursday. They gave us lots of information as well as had a plan for guests. They went out of their way to make every guest feel safe. Because Cyclone Alfred stalled we were able to get the last flight out of Brisbane before the airport closed on Thursday. The George Williams staff refunded our money and made sure we had a ride to the airport. On Wednesday we were given extra room supplies in case the cleaning staff couldn’t make it in. We can say enough about how wonderful it was to stay there. The rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable. Everything was in walking distance from the hotel. It’s a gem.

Convenient location to the cbd area and walkable to south bank . We had our push bikes and the staff were wonderful in accomodating us . Second time staying there .

Firstly no close disable parking. Was directed to an area quite a walk away. When asked how much it was we were told to bring the parking ticket and it would be validated. When we did that we were advised we had to pay $35 per day which was ridiculous as we were told different when enquired. Had no choice but to pay to get the car out. Hot water ran out after one shower on both nights. Had we known it was being renovated we would not have stayed there. Terrible for anyone with a disability.

Centrally located in Brisbane, this is an satisfactory inexpensive option. My room was small and tight, but it was clean. The bed was fine. The staff was professional and helpfu.

The staff were brillant, upon check in I received a email saying the price for my 2 night we’re $270 but at check in to be told my price had change and was then made pay $342 for my 2 night, the bed was also very uncomfortable and was difficult to have a good sleep for the price of the room
