Check in was at 2pm, arrived at 2.20pm room was still not ready until 3pm!
Pillows were awful - nothing to them.
Desk chair was very worn and uncomfortable

Took over 30 mins to get out car from the valet service on check out
I did not like the staff told me my booked room was sold out. They said i may cancelled the booking or they allocated us to different room, which call king bed room. Charged the same price for the smaller room.
I accept the changed due to my long flight & my children are exhausted

The location is fantastic. Apart from that, I’d strongly recommend against staying here. The rooms are very shabby and in dire need of some serious maintenance, the bathrooms are outdated and barely functional, the WiFi cuts out at night (making it impossible to work online and attend meetings in different time zones). There was a Bluetooth speaker in my room that didn’t work and a lamp with a dodgy electrical connection that kept switching off and on. I asked for these to be fixed and nothing was done. The swimming pool is actually part of a different hotel next door and it’s difficult to get to, dirty and has broken tiles and shabby, cracked seats around it. There doesn’t even seem to be a pool changing room. Many of the staff (receptionists in the hotel and the Goldfinch restaurant) were rude and cantankerous, although the cleaners were lovely. Overall, avoid this hotel!

The staff were very helpful. Buffet breakfast was awesome. The room was ok - water leak next to bath resulted in rotten walls - hopefully there was no fungus infestation. The roof top bar was as closed - although it was raining there was 2 days of very good weather. Pool was ok but not heated which would have been nice. Gym was ok. Some noise but was overall quiet. Close to shops, restaurants and supermarket. Walkable to south bank. Polite staff. Will I stay there again - YES
Worse hotel I've been in for a long time, there were human Faeces in the pool. Staff were polite but not helpful or of any assistance.
On arrival concierge parked our vehicle's, the lobby is welcoming the staff appear polite.
We booked 2 rooms at $415 per a night, Arrived in the first room it was average but fine, second room was a disabled access room the bathroom was unappealing and fixtures hanging out of the wall. Contacted reception. Not fixed. At checkout Concierge basically gave us our keys and pointed to b3 after dragging out luggage down strairwell we were out! Would NEVER recommend staying here. But would recommend the breakfast.

Only 1 elevator worked and no hot water for a shower.
We had a balcony room. There were weeds all around the perimeter of the balcony. Some weeds were 2 foot high so obviously neglected for some time. There was some mildew on the wall of the balcony And the neighbour smoked so it made it very difficult for us to use the balcony A pity as we paid extra to have the balcony. Room was fine and bed very comfortable. Just very disappointed with the state of the balcony.
