Upon arrival we were rather impressed when seeing the lobby. However that is where it ends.
$110 for parking which is not specified in the room description. Our room smelt damp and to make things even better our ceiling was leaking in the ensuite. Celing of the bathroom wasnt even painted and you could see the water damage through the horribly attempted setting.
One savings grave would be the staff. However management need to have a serious look at pricing of rooms if the cleanliness and functionality of rooms is this poor.

Although the hotel is a little older, it is comfortable and clean. The staff are reasonably friendly, but I rated the hotel lower on service because of the check-in experience. I was traveling with a colleague who had booked directly with the hotel. She and I both requested early check-in. I was told my room was not ready and that they would contact me when it was available. She was allowed access to her room right away. No one contacted me, and it really felt like they disliked that I had booked through this site. I felt very dismissed and ignored, compared to others checking in around me. If they don't want to work with third party vendors, then they really should not offer rooms through those vendors.
Friendly staff with easy check in, room was spacious and clean,no noise from neighbouring rooms, comfortable bed. the TV included the Fox channels with the sports, unlike other hotels I have been just have free to air channels.

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, enjoyable amenities and wonderful location.
Location is fantastic. Close to Queen St Mall, Roma St Station and many busses. Room fantastic also. Clean. Lovely bed. Staff took a long time to respond to requests. Concierge was not usually around.
All that said, we'll stay there again next time we're in Brisbane.
