I loved my stay here. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful - nothing was a problem. The parking downstairs was easy. The room was clean and spacious, and the amenities were great. Room service menu was available, and the food was excellent. Everything was absolutely worth the price.
The venue was in a great location to everything that we needed - train lines, shopping, bus stop at Ann St. Perfect stay if going to concerts etc.
The room was lovely, beds were perfect and soft and the staff were lovely.
Only issue was the parking, the parking near the venue was super squashy and near impossible to park in. We then had the option to park in Tank st, and there were plenty of parks there however it was a big walk with luggage. There were also no parks near reception to drop luggage off initially so there was conjestion during check in and check out times.
Nice hotel in a convenient location, but the views are dreary, no balcony, air con is slow to kick in, dark decor (which makes it feel smaller than it is), strange steep ramp up into ensuite (which we tripped on a few times!), the pool is overlooked by office/accommodation towers on all sides, and breakfast is expensive.
Saying that, it was quiet considering it’s next to a main road, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
We loved the clean comfortable room, the beautiful friendly staff and the wonderful breakfast buffet.
The restaurant was only available for breakfast while we stayed. The shower always overflowed into the rest of the bathroom so we couldn't reuse our towels as we had to mop it up. Another small thing - it would have been good to have some freeweights in the gym and some better floor mats as they were disintegrating.
My daughter and I had a lovely last minute 4 night break in Brisbane and were so glad we found Voco hotel. The location was perfect and we enjoyed shops, the museum, State Library and art gallery. Seeing the fireworks on NYE from our window was amazing. We had fantastic service from Jo who was an exceptional person. We enjoyed the pool and lots of room service.
