In what universe can this room cost $233AUD? It was in an industrial area with no elevator and a room that resembled a prison cell. It also lacked cleanliness.

The name Ibis Budget Airport Hotel lead me to believe that it would be within a ten minute walk of the airport. I hoped I would not have to get a taxi to the airport but it turned out that it was too far to walk and I had to get a taxi. It was a ten minute drive in the taxi to get to the airport.

We didn't have breakfast there, the room was clean but was in desperate need of a paint job. The room was so small that there was hardly a place for our luggage. no soap, water glass etc. I know it is a budjet hotel but we have stayed in plenty, for a lot less money!

Firstly this hotel deceives you into thinking this is the Ibis at the airport. IT IS NOT! It is 30-45 minutes away from the airport! This building should also be condemned! It wouldn’t be worthy of someone in a third world country. It is not the hotel I thought I was booking and the rates should be less than $50 a night for the quality of this place! Once I got my confirmation and saw the address I knew immediately I had the wrong hotel. So I messaged to have my reservation transferred to the correct one and I was met with a rude response telling me there were no refunds! This so called “hotel” is beyond horrendous! Dirty, old, rundown, shower head has water coming out of the arm in 6 places! Rude staff & so loud as it’s next the main road so you just hear cars all night. It feels like a prison would be a better place to be than this! How it is still operating is beyond me and I would suggest anyone thinking of staying here to NOT because it’s deplorable!
