checking in was very awkward and a bit frustrating as no staff in reception, did not see any staff all weekend The rooms are large, basic but comfy and very clean but the pool looked like it had not been cleaned for a long time

External to rooms was unkept eg all tiled areas very dusty including large good courtyard and stairs, ashtrays left uncleaned for what appears weeks, but inside roomy rooms they were clean and tidy and well serviced as was the pool. Noise from neighboring home was unacceptable and police could have been called but no staff in attendance and difficult to contact.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, the bed and pillows were great. Check in/out was very easy. However, the rooms need better soundproofing from people passing the walkway in front of the room (especially entering/exiting the kitchen early in the morning) and there were some minor cleaning issues (dirty mug, stain on couch).

Very average hotel room. I wouldn’t return due to lack of facilities and room standard. Reception very low key. Handed key and staff walked away. Not the most welcoming place really. Didn’t expect any fanfare but a smile wouldn’t go astray

Generally good

Easy and friendly reception, good undercover parking. There are stairs and a lift to the first floor. Convenient location for looking around Bendigo. The room was clean and bed very comfy. The carpet was clean but looked very old. Also the spa bath was very enjoyed but did look like it had seen better days
