The property is situated on acres of lovely bushland and very serene. Upon walking into the reception area I was impressed and Natalie, who greeted me and booked me in was excellent. I got a map of the complex and easy directions on how to get to my room. On the back of the map was the restaurant menu which seemed very nice, so I was looking forward to dinner.
First impressions of the room were good and when I saw the QR code on the inroom menu with a room service option, I thought great! I scanned and saw that half the menu was sold out (surprising since it was only 5.15pm) but they had what I wanted so I put it all in the cart and went to check out. It then told me they don't do online orders, which was strange as they had a QR code to place the order.
So I walked to the restaurant to place my order. I went to the bar and was expecting the staff member there to assist me. Instead she continued to text on her phone for a good 5 minutes before even acknowledging that I was there. I went to place my order but she pointed to a piece of paper on the bar which had maybe 6 menu items on it and I was told that's all they were offering, plus they don't do room service!!
I left. I expressed my disappointment to Natalie who suggested I order Uber Eats. I went back to my room and realised I don't have cutlery so could only order finger food. Needless to say I was not impressed.
On the upside, the bed was very comfortable and the AC was excellent. I probably won't go back.
