Overall, my stay was pleasant, but I was disappointed to find that one of the two hot tubs was under renovation. The remaining hot tub was always very crowded and difficult to enjoy. There was no notice about the renovation when I made the reservation, and I think it’s important for guests to be informed ahead of time so expectations are clear.

Room was delightful with a King suite over looking the mountain at the back of the property. As a tea drinker I loved that there was a kettle in the room! Lots of towels, bed was comfortable and hot water was never ending. Staff was super helpful with things to do and places to go both within walking and short drives away. The property has a very resort feel, Canadian style. Eh!

FIrst, staff if very courteous and helpful. As for the room vs what we paid - disappointing. The room is cold, even with the fireplace. Not sure what the issue is there, but our room was cold. Second, the pull-out sofa bed is like a slab of cement. No kidding, that was unbelievable and the rock hard mattress is also urine soaked/yellow coloured on one corner. The bathroom is lovely as it is large with a nice stand-up shower. As for the hotel - it has gone to the dogs, literally! The hotel is overrun with pets, some well-behaved, others not. To have a large dog growling at families with small children is unacceptable. Dogs roaming the hotel and restaurant should not be permitted. Staff advise the hotel is pet friendly at the expense of being family friendly. We also have a pet, but does not travel with us. There are better choices available for a well-run hotel at the same price.

The staff was really nice and helpful. Hotel is super clean and has beautiful views. Spa was amazing and the rooftop hot tub was enjoyable. Definitely will visit again!

It was beautiful, swim pool was little chilly, couldn’t get in the hottub because there was too many people. The sauna was closed for maintence. Room itself was very nice, love the balcony, the scenery. It was a good spot, close to everything!

Excellent service and beautiful lobby. Well situated on Banff Avenue. Rooms were slightly smaller than anticipated and 1 of 2 rooftop hot pools was under renovation. We enjoyed our stay.
