This hotel was very beautiful and the staff was amazing. They took our luggage very early when we got off the ship. They guided us to where to book excursions and how to navigate my phone! BUT this hotel is in an area where there are many people on drugs. When we came back at the end of our day. There was a person bent over on drugs 15 feet from us. The hotel has to keep their doors locked because of this. I had to call the hotel info line. It was very frightening to us. (We are from California) The hotel staff immediately came to open the door. Our luggage was already in our room. I would recommend this hotel but be aware it is in a terrible area. Staff even warned us about which streets in the evening to avoid.
The hotel was awesome,beds were so comfy and brekkie was lovely
Meet some lovely people and Tony from reception was truely amazing and very knowledgeable.
Would certainly stay again
I loved this hotel. It was a real surprise, given some of the things we had seen on the way to it. Part indigenous art gallery, part hotel, withe a philosophy that supports the first nations population. We were welcomed by Scarlet, who toĺd us about the hotel and some popular restaurants. Our room was on the top floor and was attractively decorated with indigenous art, and was comfortably furnished. The en-suite was supplied with some pleasant herbal toiletries. We hadn't expected breakfast, but the hotel provided a light buffet anyway. We took the advice of our host and went to "The Old Spaghetti Factory" for dinner and had a great time. One piece of advice for unsuspecting travellers I wold give is;
When leaving the hotel, don't turn left towards Main St. Turn right, then right down Abbot St. This will take you to Gastown, which is a lot nicer experience.
Very clean. 6 blocks from the skytrain if you're walking. Our room had 14 stairs to climb up (with your luggage) when we were told "some rooms have a few stairs in them". We are 73 YO and walk with a cane. Not good. Otherwise, nice hotel.
We loved this hotel. The room was wonderful, as was the staff. We stayed in the King Salmon Suite. The decor was beautiful and we enjoyed the balcony. It is definitely a hidden gem of Vancouver.
Great staff, very friendly and quick check in. Cute little place to check out!

Disliked: Staff & service
They had a faulty machine for credit cards but after trying 4 cards from different banks, they just ask us to call the bank.
Alsowould not take cash bc do we just had to leave.
We were in the feather room, which requires you to climb a flight of stairs once you are in room—which was kind of a pain. Hotel room and bath were clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was fine. Neighborhood is a bit iffy, but only a block from Chinatown and Gastown. Easy walk to cruise terminal and Canada Place. Good value for the money.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean. We had a room at the back of the hotel that was very quiet.

Really lovely stay. Scarlett at the desk was friendly, informative, and ready to help. I loved the rooms individual native design.
The hotel stis on the boarder between tourist safe and less safe. So keep to daylight walking or Uber. But its unique, serves Indigenous artists as a home, shop space and sells their beautiful works. Its uncommon and worth a visit!
