Our stay was excellent, very convenient location and the rooms were clean and standard, although you could change up the mattresses, my friends was pretty worn out and the elevator situation was pretty crazy. I mean who lines up to get to their room.

The Sandman Hotel was a wonderful place to stay. It has great dining option in the hotel. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean and nice. Walking distance to a market, Starbucks and many other things. I would stay again.

Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Loved that they provided in room safes. Very walkable to bus stops, restaurants, and downtown. They have a pool, hot tub, and gym available for use during certain hours that were very clean. Only issue we had was that one of the elevators (there was only 2 on our side) was out of order and there was some kind of event going on that week. It was very busy and the wait the terrible for those of us who stayed in higher floors.

We only stayed one night but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The onsite parking was great as well as the dining options around the hotel as well as in the hotel. My only complaints are that the elevator always had a line of people and my mom is in a walker so it was not ideal for us to be waiting for so long as there was only two elevators in the north tower. My second complaint was that not all the surfaces in the room seemed to be wiped down like the remote and the temperature handle in the shower. In addition we didn’t find the bed or pillows that comfortable. But all in all it was a great stay for the night.

Great location for seeing downtown Vancouver, attending events and exploring the city. Our room was average, not what you’d expect when paying $600 a night. We waited over 5 minutes for the elevator most times and up to 15 minutes at some point. Being on the top floor with luggage made it tricky to take the stairs. The staff was not overly helpful or friendly at the hotel or attached restaurants. The parking garage was falling apart, there were wires everywhere, exposed rebar and concrete which made navigating the parking garage very difficult. This hotel benefits from its location and as a result does little to improve guests stay. We would not stay here again.
