I liked that the property was quiet and has good parking. I like the staff; they were very friendly and helpful. I didn't like the fact that with the price of rooms, there was no microwave, no refrigerator, and no complimentary breakfast or breakroom. Also dislike that the bathtub was dingy. And there was a bug in the bedroom; and one in the bathroom.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. I stayed three nights and no one attempted to clean my room. When I mentioned it at day three, they brought me coffee supplies and towels. I probably would choose another place next time.

Overall, this was a decent one-night stay. I generally don’t enjoy staying in properties like this, but we don’t have much of an option on this trip. After getting up to our original room after a last minute emergency booking, we found that the room had never been cleaned from the previous guest. We went back down to get a new room and it was easily remedied—plus we were given a room on the first floor, which I prefer when I am somewhere with no elevator. The room was clean, and I appreciated the lack of gross carpet with hard floors instead which feel like a much cleaner option. The water pressure and hot water in the bathroom was honestly the best hotel shower I’ve ever had and that is saying something. Bed was comfortable enough and the room was quiet, even facing the main parking lot. No frills, no breakfast and nothing special but I would stay again if I needed to. Took off one star for the price because I don’t understand why a red roof with no extras should cost $165 for a night. Seemed very overpriced for what we got.
