Uptown golf resorts

This Doubletree property was right in the heart of the Galleria area in Houston with plenty of walkable shops & restaurants. It smelled amazing as soon as you walk in! The agent at the desk checked us in early, gave us cookies/ water & was very personable. Our King Suite had a full kitchen, livingroom, separate bedroom & the best part was the spacious balcony with nice city views. Bed was comfy, but it took a little bit for the hot water to come on in the bathroom. Also, a housekeeper didnt know we were in the room & came to ask us when we were checking out. That was a bit weird, but overall great stay!

This hotel was great for the area, walk-ability, well priced, clean, and the staff was wonderful. There were a few minor cosmetic issues with our room, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling off in a few sections behind the toilet and in the second bathroom, and the carpet had some big worn out spots. Also one minor cleaning issue-when we opened up the sofa bed to make it for our 6 year old, it had obviously not been cleaned underneath because there were several French fries that were coated in ketchup scattered underneath.

Excellent five star treatment and service

Comfortable, clean and well kept rooms. Very good staff and a convenient breakfast cafe downstairs that made it easy to get breakfast even if it wasn't included in the stay. I was here for a conference and the overall organization and conference food were very good.
