The hotel from the outside looks nice, but looks are definitely deceiving with this one. We checked in and once off the elevator and onto the 15th floor and the immediate smell of sewage hit me. Literally the floor/carpet smells of mildew and sewage. We get to our room and it is nice, no complaint there. However, at 4 am, my daughter went to use the restroom and the toilet overflowed onto the bathroom floor and into the room. I called down to the front desk and spoke with the clerk and he stated he would send someone up- never showed. We get up and I call back down to the front desk and they said they will send someone up, no showed so we went to breakfast. We came back to get ready for the day and the toilet is still messed up abc the floor is wet. I finally get someone to actually show up and fix it before it’s time to check out. Once I’m downstairs to check out, someone from the hotel with an iPad is immediately in my face asking about my stay and after I say less than pleasurable, he offers to “give you some points for your trouble “ which I still never got and the proceeds to try and sell me a vacation!!!!!! Sir! If you don’t read the room- this place needs to be updated, customer service needs to be worked on and definitely work on educating employees on how to handle situations like this
