Do not stay here
We recently stayed at this hotel and were extremely disappointed. The property is severely outdated and clearly neglected—it’s evident that no meaningful investment or upkeep has been made in a long time.
Our room smelled terrible the entire stay. The carpet was extremely old, stained, and damaged. One employee even admitted that it had never been replaced.
The bathroom was just as bad. Mold was visible in the shower and under the peeling wallpaper. It was unsanitary and unacceptable.
There was a couch in the room that was covered in stains and holes. The pullout bed in the couch was in terrible condition—held together with some kind of wire or rubber string, and completely unusable. I couldn’t sleep on it at all. When we asked for a better sleeping option, they gave us a cot that was even worse. We requested something more supportive, and the “solution” was placing two pieces of wood under the mattress.
Other issues included a poorly functioning mini fridge and a toilet that would run nonstop unless you jiggled the handle after every flush.
All around, this was a deeply uncomfortable and frustrating experience. We tried to address several of these issues with the staff, but nothing was meaningfully resolved. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until it receives a full renovation and proper maintenance.
