I enjoyed my time at the property, it just would have been nice to be made aware it was under construction prior to checking in. This was a trip meant as a calm relaxing get away and I was surprised to arrive to construction going on throughout most of the property.

The staff was helpful and courteous. The bathroom was a little dirty and had no soap we had to go get it ourselfs. We didn't like that when we got there none of the anemities mentioned in the booking were available. We were pretty much stuck in the room when we wanted to hang out by the pool or the restaurant. That was a big disappointment to us. The air in the room was so dry that we had to open a window to get good air circulation because of my asthma it was making it very hard to breathe in there. The contactless check out made it quick and easy to get out on time.

Under HUGE Reno...Hotels.com failed...great staff

This a tough one. The Hotel is going through a major renovation...All rooms and public spaces including the Lobby and Amenities. None of this was listed on Hotels.com...so the Pool I was looking forward to was closed. The Suite I was in was falling apart...beyond the end of its lifespan for furniture and fixtures and construction was not just loud but banging...that said, the room was immaculate, the staff were very friendly and the issues with the room's disrepair are currently being addressed with a full reno...and the inaccuracies of the Hotels.com listing I think are Hotels.com's responsibility to have updated and correct. So it's a wash for a review I think...if the hotel was NOT undergoing a reno I would have said that the room was a dump...the same room in the pictures but the pictures are very old. I would stay here again when the reno is complete and I would hope that the hotel's owner decides to refresh the newly remodeled rooms sooner than the 17 years that was the last time my room had an update...when the hotel was built. Also, dog safe salt on sidewalks is a suggestion as I have a service animal and the salt was brutal...it's more money, so the lots and drive can go without, but the sidewalks should have dog safe salt. (I live in NYC where the Port Authority and our local sidewalks are all salted with dog safe salt)

I was disappointed when I arrived at the hotel because they were under renovations. I wish when booking the reservation they would have made it known, because I would have chosen to stay somewhere else. The fitness center was closed and the common areas were clearly in the middle of a renovation. Again, Expedia should have alerted me. This is the first time that I’ve been unhappy with a stay booked through Expedia.

We chose this hotel over others around for the pool for my daughter- it was closed with no warning or notice. Then our room had a dirty towel in it. Property looks very nice from the outside. Inside it is outdated and has a musty smell. The staff are very friendly so no complaints there. A good updating on the inside and a good thorough cleaning is what this place needs.
