Great property. Dining room and bar not open! Was expected as advertised but!! Advertised breakfast was worst Ive ever paid for. Very dissapointed . Oviously spent a lot on the property but could not take care of guests.

The room we booked was actually not available so they gave us a smaller bed with no reduction in price. There was no on-site Resturant or bar as new owners had not yet got licensing, so the description of the property is inaccurate. Lots of street and people noise. Room itself was fine but I would not stay again.

The Gould was advertised as having a restaurant and bar but neither were n operation when we arrived. We should have been notified of the change prior to our arrival to allow for alternate arrangements if we chose. The breakfast was barely cereal and a bowl of fruit with packaged cereal bars and oatmeal. Not very appetizing.

The hotel and rooms were beautiful and well cared for. but on an extremely hot and humid night - the a/c did not work. Terri (who seemed to be the ONLY employee at the hotel) did everything she could to help since there was no maintenance available, and moved us to another room on the 2nd night - where the a/c did work. I can't say enough good things about Terri but it was disappointing (to say the least) at such a nice and pricey hotel to have no a/c.

The only problem was that the restaurant and bar was closed. They sold the hotel the day before we got there and there was only one staff member on duty. She was wonderful. Everyone else quit Overall good stay but was expecting to use the restaurant dnd bar And we could not get into the hotel till 3pm. Because there was no staff

Strange place

The toilet ran all night. There was a mini split and a portable a/c unit vented out the window; both ran all night. The portable was leaking water on the floor. With all that, it was a little warm and stuffy in the room overnight. Bed was not comfortable and it was questionable if the bedding was clean. There were blood spots on the comforter.

Terrie at the front desk was by herself due to a staff shake up. She was mostly by herself, was honest about what was going on, was sweet and gracious. The hotel and our room was beautiful and perfectly situation to walk around and see the sights.

A well appointed old building with remarkable, well informed staff and a chef who was able to meet special dietary needs with ease.
The Women's Rights museum is the reason to be in Seneca Falls.

Clean hotel, ok location

Decent hotel and staff was very friendly. A little pricey for what it is, but I had to book on short notice. The location is just ok. Lots of history in the area, but many of the sites listed were closed or merely markers.

The hotel is updated, classy chic. The manager was efficient and friendly. Our room and bathroom was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice art work throughout the hotel.
