This is a really cool historic hotel. The vibe in this small New Mexico town is relaxed, and the hotel drips nostalgia and early Hollywood western movie charm. The place is fun to explore, the lobby smells like a pinion pine forest, and the staff does their part to create a welcoming, accommodating atmosphere.
Then, after you have enjoyed the good food in the restaurant, had a drink at the quaint bar, you can retire to your Western-themed room, which is full of thoughtful unique touches. From the comfortable beds to the remodeled rooms that keep their style, like old-fashioned closets and a full height chest of drawers, the experience continues in each one-of-a-kind home for the night. Sure the plugs and bathroom may not compare to a brand new hotel, but that is what makes this THE place to stay on old Route 66 across New Mexico!
Don’t think about it, book here if you are staying in Gallup, or even if you are not, stop here for at least one night!
