Was upgraded from 2 bed 1 bath to 2 bed 2 bath, which was appreciated, but 1 bath had no hot water. Staff were unable to sort as no maintenance crew available over the weekend. Room itself was fabulous, both bedrooms had floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Brisbane River.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, unfortunately. The staff were lovely but everything else was terrible. The first room I was given (a studio) was accessed through a dark carpark that smelt of rotting rubbish, and overlooked a highway. It was damp, musty, dingy, and made me feel like I was locked in a torture chamber of some type. Everything was old and shabby, and I then had to pay to be "upgraded" in the hopes of getting a room that wouldn't exacerbate my asthma and allergies. The next room I got moved was brighter and more open (and crucially accessed via a normal, albeit bad smelling, hallway), but the carpets were still so foul I didn't go barefoot on them. The whole place had a revolting smell, and the bathroom was very worn. The beds were very worn with big obvious patches of wear in the mattress that you inevitably rolled into. The whole place needs a big refresh. It wasn't worth it for the price or even the central location. I'd rather stay somewhere more expensive or further out, that wasn't so gross.

Was a good clean room and the view was very nice, however it didn't really have much in the kitchen to be able to use it. We had to buy EVERYTHING (salt, pepper, oil, etc). Stocking the most basic cooking items would be nice. While we did have two small milks in the ice box, there was no tea or coffee.

I wouldn't stay there again, the check-in process took too long, and one of the lifts was not working, causing lengthy delays just to get to your room. The carpets need replacing; they are stained and stretched.

Stayed here in march was a much better experience then. Just little thing's like broken door to balcony no safe to store valuables. Staff were very hard to understand what they were saying. And with broken ribs we had to park a few buildings down and walk back which wouldnt of been an issue if i didnt have fractured ribs.

The light throughout the whole apartment is surprising- in the sense that the location, apartment and the view are gorgeous, and the lighting(white light, not warm) was quite “painful’. You could make it so much better with warm lighting.we didnt even want to turn them on;-)

View wasn't worth the money

We came for the River Fire and were shown a room with a great view in the photos. But despite paying top dollarfor a room that is worth much less ordinarily we did not get the view shown in the pictures and it was not worth the price we paid. We could just barely see the river and we could see only 2 firework launchers out of the 50+. Even worse we stayed three nights but they gave the room closer to the river to a couple that only stayed one night. I spoke to them and they paid the same as us for the Saturday night. So the 1 night guests get the better room? Not the 3 night guests? And to top it all off the spa was cold. We thought maybe it would heat up so we ran it for about half an hour. But no, it just stayed cold. Considering we paid about double the normal rate based on the spa and the view I feel ripped off.
