I loved the facility. Our room was nice and large, with a good view of the pool area. I personally liked the layout of the adult side pool area. The main adult pool is small, but there are lots of areas for couples to relax. Large groups might enjoy the main pool areas more, as they seem livelier. We had to adjust our expectations with the staff a bit. The very first time I asked a waiter for water, he told me to get it myself from the club lounge. That set the tone for the week. I ended up getting most of my water, beer, and soda from the club lounges, including a minibar restock. We aren't big drinkers, so it wasn't a huge deal. It didn't stop us from having a good time. I can list 5-10 times when we had to alter course due to staff. Including two dinner plans on separate nights. Speaking of dinner, I don't understand all the glowing reviews about the food. We found it on par with similar resorts at this level. It wasn't bad, just nothing great. Lunch is a struggle unless you love hot dogs, hamburgers, or buffet pizza. Although they had other options, there was often limited or no staff at certain buffet stations. I would go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice for resorts of this caliber. If you already booked, Erik in the main lobby bar at night makes some of the best drinks I've ever had.
