The room was spacious and clean. I liked the sink outside the bathroom. The pool and waterslide and features were fun and one of the reasons I stayed there. The breakfast was cereal, juice, apples and oranges, and mini muffins. Another advantage is it is 7 miles from Carlsbad Caverns. The restaurant was great, but is closed on Sunday and Monday so be aware if that is when you are traveling.

So close to Carlsbad

Right at the entry to Carlsbad Caverns National Park, very confident and the mini water park was a huge plus! Also an easy half hour drive to Guadeloupe National Park.

The property was older and it was evident. It was sufficiently clean but generally felt old, both inside and out. The location was excellent for visiting Carlsbad Caverns, and I would stay there again, but nothing special to speak of.

Has a pool. The room was a little dirty under beds, behind the beds, hair still in the bathtub from previous ppl I’m assuming. Cockroaches- alive and dead in the rooms! Make sure you don’t get the room by the stairwell. Or ice. You hear everything. The phones don’t work to get new towels so you go to the lobby. Which was fine. The gentleman was very nice. When checking out today, I told the woman that was eating her breakfast outside of the lobby that there were cockroaches in the room. She said, water cockroaches” and kept eating. Other than all of that, it was close to the Carlsbad cavern national park, which was great. Just make sure you eat prior to coming to the town if you come after 3pm!
