Stacy was welcoming and wonderful! We experienced some trouble with our rent car and she was happy to help us out. The staff at the gift shop, Sophia and Belle, also helped us out. The entire community is so wonderful and made our trip happy and memorable.

The hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of cavern national Park. There is a gas station and a few limited choices of restaurants or groceries. More choices are in Carlsbad which is twenty minutes away. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The facility is relatively new. The breakfast is simple.

I like that it isn’t a corporate property. Is it old? Yes. It’s on the bare-and-functional end of the spectrum. But it’s charming and in a great location. We’ve stayed here twice now and it’s become our go-to. They’re easy to get in and out of, and it has the charming, summer camp vibe that I appreciate. It’s very no fuss, no frills; but I don’t need much on a roadtrip. We loved the pool when we stayed over the summer.

The first eoom we got had a clogged toilet. The second room we got didnt have stoppers in the sink nor bath drain. The beds and bedding were clean. Both rooms the toilets rocked (loose on their mountings) and rooms are kinda dirty and worn. There were pieces of breakfast cereal on the floor in both rooms. Very disappointed, will not be staying here again
