This was are second year at this property. Last year was really nice, great food, nice room, we stayed in the Jr elegance club swim out 3000 block. This time we did the same but in 2000 block. I have a couple of complaints. We pay extra for the club swim out, we share that with the other club members, with what we pay, they shouldn't let just anyone use that section of the swim out. This year we had people at our swim out using our recliners ext. We didn't have that problem last year. I asked our butler and he said that anyone can use this. Well why did I have to pay more for us when anyone can use it? That area should be used only by club members because it's right out of our room and we paid for it. It should be private and that's why there is the public pool on the property for everyone to use. Second, the food wasn't as good as last year. It didn't matter if it was buffet or restaurant, it definitely wasn't that great. Everyone that works there that we came across was very pleasant. Next year we will be staying somewhere else. They should definitely change the pricing on the swim out elegance club if anyone can use it. It's not fair to those who paid more for it.

I had high hopes for The Majestic based on the photos and description, but unfortunately, the reality was extremely disappointing — and even hazardous to our health. Let’s start with the location: while the resort tries to market itself as beachfront paradise, what they don’t tell you is that the back side of the hotel faces a stagnant sewer bay. This bay is a breeding ground for mosquitoes, and we were constantly bitten throughout the stay, especially in the evenings. No amount of repellent helped, and the bites became a major nuisance that ruined any attempt to relax outdoors. Overall, The Majestic is misleading, poorly managed, and unsanitary. Between the mosquito-infested location, moldy rooms, and contaminated food practices, I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. Not worth the money or risk.

4th time back to this resort for a 40th birthday! We love the kindness and genuine hospitality from everyone who works there and normally get treated amazingly. It was unfortunate that our butler Leonardo (who we had one year ago) acted as if we did not exisit. Saw up first two days then nothing for the final three. Did not respond to most messages and did not follow through on any kind of request. Erik and Tino at the bar were fantastic and Giovanni at the piano bar was great for our morning coffees.

Our stay at Majestic Elegance was not as great as we thought it would be. There were some things my partner and I did not like about the room. Our room had a funny smell. Similar to the smell of a basement. The cleanliness of the room was not up to our standard. There were cob webs in corners, dusty. The jacuzzi was dirty with dead bugs and dirt in it. The lounge bed next to jacuzzi had dirty pillow cushion and pillows. There were cosmetic issues like paint chips, scrapes and scratches to appliances (fridge/built in fridge cabinet). Some things were addressed during our stay. They offered aromatherapy each night to help with smell. They did clean the room once we voiced our concerns and daily after that. Some of the food didn’t taste appetizing. Some of the restaurants had dirty chair cushions and table decor wasn’t very clean. Staff were very kind and respectful. They have excellent customer service. Val our butler was fantastic.

It was such an amazing experience! The pictures don’t do this place justice. We have Omar as a butler and he was so attentive! The Japanese restaurant was my favorite. The only complaint I would have is that the water had a distinct smell but besides that I can’t wait to come back!
