The front office staff were very friendly, helpful, and kind! We ordered food from the restaurant, and it was good and the portion sizes were generous. The bar staff were also friendly, and the pool area was clean and inviting. However, the rooms were quite dated and in need of upgrades. They lacked basic amenities like coffee makers, and unfortunately, the sheets and towels were dirty. We also had a negative experience with the housekeeping staff. They scolded our group for congregating in the common area and insisted that we return all the chairs we moved. One staff member even told us not to make her job harder, as it was her responsibility to clean up after guests. This interaction felt unprofessional and unnecessary. Overall, while the customer service at the front desk and bar was excellent and the amenities like the pool were enjoyable, the condition of the rooms and the attitude of some housekeeping staff left a lot to be desired.

The restaurant and pool closed very early, even though they were “fully booked”. The bar was open and thriving, though! They did give local restaurants that were open. A police officer, who was standing at the front desk, told us that all there was to do in the town was (and I QUOTE!) murder each other. We even asked him to repeat himself. Not even joking. Our refrigerator wasn’t plugged in and where the plug was, we couldn’t plug it in and when we asked if they could, they never did. The ice machine was broken. The bed was horribly uncomfortable. I thought it was interesting that the hallways were reminiscent of “The Shining”. There was duplicate art work right next to each other, which was trippy after a couple of drinks. The room we stayed in wasn’t cleaned well, but they were constantly understaffed so I cleaned it. Overall a very “Twilight Zone” experience. I want to give it 5 stars but it’s really hard because of the refrigerator being unplugged destroyed ALL of our food and even after us being gone all day, they still didn’t fix the situation. And the bed was horrible.

The staff was overwhelmingly friendly and helpful with one glaring exception. The bartender on Friday night was extremely rude and confrontational. I went to the bar only looking for some forks to eat our leftover Chinese food in the room (which I had in cooler) and she accused me of trying to sneak alcohol into the bar. When I tried to explain she didn’t want to hear it and raised the temperature further. Fortunately another employee came along and retrieved plastic forks for us. The bartender was just nasty in comparison.

The place was dated, the room was dingy- bathroom had mildew and broken fixture on the tub. No complimentary breakfast ($60 to order room service for breakfast- that had an additional 18% charge to be delivered to the room, so we picked it up at the front office) and complimentary coffee was only available 7:30a-9:30am. Would not stay here again.

This hotel is both outdated and lacking in staff. Bathroom smells bad, shower/tub poorly fitted, water runs hot and cold, there is no hairdryer, no coffee maker in the room, no breakfast place. Very disappointing, not recommended

The property was what I needed, a cheap hotel that was close to the highway for work. It stood out to me initially because they have a beautiful interior courtyard. The building is undergoing renovation and I was told as a historic building, it takes more time for approval. However, the rooms were tough to spend time in. Luckily it was only sleeping I needed it for. The rooms do have quite a musty smell. They are old rooms. The wallpaper was peeling, shower took a while to get warm, appearance of water damage. But I will say the room was clean, bed comfortable, and it met the needs I had. The staff was very nice too.

Staff was friendly. The lobby is ice cold, the elevator is ice cold, the hallway is ice cold. We went to our first room, this was a poolside view with a balcony. It was too cold in the poolroom so we didn’t stay out long. We put the heat on high for about 2 hours and the room was still ice cold. We were going to take a hot shower however the room water was only lukewarm. We called the desk and they moved us to a different room. The heat and hot water worked great in this room. We went in, we’re going to sit on the couch however there were crumbs all over the couch. Then when we went to take a shower there was hair and dirt in it, the water drains slowly so then it was going to be all around our feet. They don’t do house keeping while you are there which sucks but is deal able. We were going to go down for breakfast one day but apparently, you can’t eat in the restaurant for breakfast and lunch, it’s only take out. We did go for dinner which was cold on our last night. My friend got the fish n chips, she immediately threw it up before we even left and needed up with diarrhea overnight and the next day. I got the chicken quesadilla, it was bland and very greasy. I wouldn’t recommend here for anyone. The staff is friendly though.
