Copied from my Google Review (Wendy Chin, Local Guide Level 5) I had a lovely stay at citizenM Boston. Great city and urban vibes, tasteful decor throughout the building especially the main lobby located on the 4th floor. The main lobby is an excellent location for business meetings. There are private meeting rooms to rent and lots of space to have open meetings as well. Comfy lounge areas to relax, play games, read, etc. Great view of city skies and perfect location to enjoy the flight patterns of city pigeons. Breakfast buffet has a nominal fee but it is worth it! Variety of breakfast items to choose from including fresh chocolate pastries, muffins, bagels, cereal, breakfast meat, and a mini lox bar. Expresso drinks made to order by friendly baristas including a shout out to Shy who goes the extra mile for her customers! Other drinks include a variety of juices and a filtered water dispenser. My bedroom was located on the 11th floor. It was very quiet with no screaming kids or loud sports fans. The Ipad in my room controls the blinds, curtains, room temp, TV channels, room lights. You can also schedule a room cleaning on it too! Great place to stay for business trips, vacationing in Boston and a R & R stay! Even though no dogs are allowed; Pork Chop approves with 4 PAWS! 🐾

First night we had a room that wouldn’t go over 16c - we ended up sleeping in clothes as it was so cold, phoned reception , couldn’t/wouldnt change room until following morning. Which they did straight away, next room had subtitles on the screen, and couldn’t be switched off, so couldn’t watch Tv (I know we are not in Boston to watch TV, but still annoying) 2nd room had heating working perfectly, it was clean and usual citizen M layout. Staff were ok, very poor the first night and paying for a room that we couldn’t sleep in because of the cold and no way to change after 10pm was poor. Rest of stay was fine, hotel in great location - literally next door to TD Bank Garden Arena & North station, easy walkable to Boston Common and the main shopping area.
