The hotel is excellent, the staff are really nice and helpful. The breakfast that's included is really good, offering something for everyone. We loved the bathhouse in the basement also, it's very clean and relaxing. The hotel is perfect except for the pillows! Some slightly smaller or flatter ones are needed the ones there were a bit big for our personal preference. The room was very well equipped otherwise.

Loved our stay here! Staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant and roof top bar was fantastic! Only downfall was that the walls were a little thin, so could hear the TV next door and child crying (only for a short period of time)

This hotel was amazing! It is a traditional Japanese style hotel but equally has some added comforts, like the super comfy beds. The area surrounding the hotel is stunning and is a nice quieter area to stay rather than staying in Kyoto. You can then easily get into Kyoto by bus or train, with the bus stop and train station just across the road/round the corner. There are lots of shops and nice restaurants nearby as well as amazing walks, shrines and other sites to see. The staff were friendly and the hotel was really clean. We tried the breakfast at the hotel and it was really traditional Japanese breakfast. We liked the experience but weren't fans of the food but worth trying! Would definitely stay again!

Great location - walking distance to train station and buses, and very easy to locate.

Very nice and clean hotel, you can also walk to metro stations and the market.
