This is a great property in the heart of Kyoto. Close to the main bus line and very walkable to food, shopping and a lot of tourist sites. Temples, Shrines and Palaces are all really close. We lucked out finding this property!!!

Solo traveler from Toronto. Not sure why this hotel is only a three star. It’s got a great modern boutique style vibe. The lobby is warm and inviting. The room I had on the 9th floor was clean, stylish and had a great view. The breakfast had great selections. The staff went above and beyond to make it a wonderful stay. If you’re visiting Kyoto for shopping, dining and seeing the sights this is the place.

Comfortable beds in a compact room with space saving details like several hooks and lighting built into headboard. Breakfast buffet was ok. No laundry in the hotel but laundromat with big machines is closeby. Excellent location for catching subway and buses, walkable to many shopping and eating options. Onigiri and A5 Wagyu sukiyaki directly opposite hotel entrance are excellent.

Truly an Outstanding Hotel

A warm welcome and easy check in process. Very helpful staff our entire stay. Room was quite spacious for Japan. We were extremely comfortable. Breakfast buffet was plentiful (they open at 7am though so if you have an early day tour the opening time could be a bit late for you.) Location was perfect for walking to sights and metro. Overall we had an excellent stay!

Great location and can walk to everything! We could get to Gion in 20 minutes and it’s right next to downtown shopping and restaurants. Close to trains too for transportation further away. Would stay again
