The beverage station was a nice touch. It would be nice to have a small table between the beds with a power outlet. The staff was very helpful.

Overall we had a positive experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helped us when we needed it, calling a taxi, answering questions etc. Our room was decently sized and the location was good. It was close enough to Kyoto Station to walk to but if you have a ton of luggage, or the weather isn’t ideal, you’ll probably be more comfortable taking a taxi here. It’s very close to the subway station that takes you down to Nara, Fushimi Inari or even Osaka. You can also take that line north to get to a lot of the temples and shrines on the East side so overall the location was pretty good. The drink/Ice Machines in the lobby was really nice especially since you can’t find drinking fountains anywhere in Japan. The cons: Our Shower head was a little moldy, everything else was clean in the room but I noticed that as soon as we arrived. Having a place to do Laundry was nice but it was next to the smoking room so that area smelled. The Machines are Wash and Dry combos. You do not need to bring detergent but If you have anything close to a “normal sized Western” load of Laundry you will likely need to add extra drying time. We had to split our load in two and use both machines and still had to add extra drying time. The Machines were REALLY expensive. ¥800 for a single load to wash and “Dry” and then an extra ¥200 to dry them more. We ended up spending ¥2000 just to do laundry which was annoying since our hotel in Tokyo had the same machine but for a third the price.

Excellent customer service. Nice, clean throughout including room. No top sheet though, only doona. Close to public transport, especially trains & buses. Food, drink & supplies at the 7/11 across the road & many near by. Food restaurants, etc close by. Good location.

Great for the price

Overall comfortable and just what I needed. It could be a bit small for more than one person, but I had all the space I needed and then some. The hotel was some nice amenities (e.g. some free beverages in the lobby) and the staff was always happy to help. Great location and a very well-priced hotel in Kyoto!

Located in a convenient area a few minutes from 2 different train stations. Staff were friendly and helpful during the stay. Amenities were excellent with drinks provided on the first floor and a laundry room. The room was neat and tidy.

Good budget hôtel with good location

Good hôtel for the price I paid. Good location near the train station, Kyoto Tower and shops and restaurants. There is a kombini 7 eleven just in front which is very nice! The room was ok but the matress was a bit hard and lot of dust under the bed. Otherwise it was Ok. Staff was friendly.

Love the convenience of the location, close to the train station and city bus. Kyoto station was 13 min walk from this hotel. The staff were so nice and helpful, the rooms so clean and spacious. Loved the hotel.

Wander Kyoto Nanajo was conveniently located, making it easy to get to everywhere I wanted to check out. The hotel is a newer build so the rooms were a bit larger and it felt like a western hotel. The bed was also a queen size which was nice. Clean, safe, convenient and excellent service.
